A few years ago, I decided to make a felt mushroom. It was one of those things that I had seen online and thought "I could totally make that!" So, I gathered my supplies and got to work.
The process was actually pretty simple. I started with a white piece of felt and cut it into the shape of a mushroom cap. Then, I used some brown felt to create the stem. To add a little bit of interest, I decided to embroider some spots onto the mushroom cap.
The final step was to attach everything together. I did this by hand, using a needle and thread. And that was it! My very own handmade felt mushroom.
I was pretty proud of myself when I finished this project. It's not perfect, but it's unique and definitely looks like a mushroom!
